It was worth the drive in and the drive out (in darkness). I shall be exploring this area much more in coming months.

We both could look it up (and I am sure I have at one time or another) Jim but you know it will just say something like....no one is sure why its called Jumping Off Rock BUT ...... and go on to list the usual stories about a man chasing his dog, a lassies losing her lover in the war and local teenage rituals etc.
I think your explanation is better than all of them.
