Is it the place where Henry VIII's children Edward and Elizabeth I spent their youth? As far as i could see the Hatfield Palace look very similar to this old building.

This is the Old Palace at Hatfield where Elizabeth I spent a lot of her childhood. It was built by Cardinal Morton in the 1400s and is used today as a banqueting venue. The newer, Hatfield House, was built in the early 17th century by the Cecil family who had served Elizabeth loyally throughout her reign. Both buildings are historically fascinating and are well work a visit.
