Hello Christian. Please, two questions: Does it's in memory to soldiers of First World War? What is the meaning of "poilus"?
Saludos!!

Yes it is a monument in honour of the soldiers died during the WWI. It is the photo which I artificially aged with "Photofiltre". In France, we called our sodats of the WWI the "hairy" (les "poilus") because they were badly shaved and dirty in trenches.

OK Christian. Many thanks. I've understood it. In Spanish translates always "peludos" or "barbudos".
Un saludo!!

I put new photos taken during an exhibition for 100 years of the end of the WWI. I put labels (tags) to help you to differentiate both wars. Un saludo Pepe!!

To speak about war is often a part of my profession. I teach the history in this secondary school. To give a peace message to the young generations is one of my main preoccupations. All the best to you, Christian
