Quarry Cove, Yaquina Head, Oregon

Quarry Cove is a unique rocky intertidal area built between 1992 and 1994 from a former rock quarry. The cove provides opportunities to observe tidal pools and occassional resting harbor seals. The area is managed by the Bureau of Land Management as an Outstanding Natural Area. An interpretive center and trails are located nearby.
