Looking along the wall of a deserted dock at Millbay. At the far end sit a few ramshackle sheds. Overlooking the whole scene are posh apartment blocks, waiting for the view to improve when the planned redevelopment is complete.

A lovely photo Mark. It's sad though that the history is being replaced with new buildings. Soon there wont be anything left but memories. It seems all docklands around the world are being developed into apartments, some nice some awful but all taking a little of the character away.
Thanks Palmina :) - this series is getting a lot of interest in the real world - it's being seen as a sort of photo documentary of the last of the area before the redevelopment starts...
And you're right about the memories... but it's all relativve. I suppose the redevelopment, in generations to come, might be viewed in the same light??
Mark. It should be recognized and seen as a photo documentary. I can see this image series showing in galleries for years to come. Not only does it document the details but does it in a very unique artistic way. Well done.
Hey, Tom - thanks for that, I'm getting the same sort of message from others.
There's even talk of getting it displayed alongside work from the photographer Reuben Lenkiewicz, son of the famous painter Robert Lenkiewicz with work from local contemporary photographer, Jo-Jo.
Which will be nice, if it comes together :)
Hey Mark that's exciting stuff. Will be anxiously awaiting the official announcement. Good luck.
Best regards, Tom
