Zagrebačka katedrala : Zagreb Cathedral

Najveća prvostolnica u Hrvatskoj. Na njenom mjestu nalazila se crkvica sagrađena između 9. i 11. stoljeća.

Gradnja počela u 11. stoljeću, stradavala je i bila obnavljana nekoliko puta.

Dovršena u neogotičkom slogu, 1906. Obnova katedrale i njenih tornjeva s 8 zvona i 8 satova počela je u osamdesetima,

i još traje. Njihova visina je 108 m. Izvana je duga 77 m i 48,2 m široka.

Unutarnja površina iznosi 1617 m2 i može primiti više od 5000 ljudi. Prvostolnica je posvećena Uznesenju Blažene

Djevice Marije, te kraljevima Sv. Stjepanu i Sv. Ladislavu.

The largest cathedral in Croatia. In its place was a small church built between the 9th and 11th century.

Construction began in the 11th century. Was destroyed and was rebuilt several times.

Completed in neo-Gothic style, 1906. Renovation of the cathedral and its towers with 8 bells and 8 clocks began in the eighties,

and is still ongoing. Their height is 108 m. Outside it is 77 m long and 48.2 m wide. The inner surface is 1617

m2 and it can accommodate more than 5000 people. The cathedral is dedicated to the Assumption of the Blessed

Virgin Mary, and to St. Stephen and St. Ladislaus, the kings.
