Beer Garden - Summer 2007

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

A sacred place in our memories...... We used to ride our motorbike down the A4 from Reading and sup a few pints of Wadworth's and eat 'pig in a poke' and then ride the 40 miles back home. We never had an incident, or not that I can remember!

Another shot from this collection can be found HERE

Inside is here - that was our table.

Nice story! But where do I get the seeds to plant my own beer garden?

Kenneth Kruse on October 21, 2012

Was the hangover so bad that it took 5 years to recover and post this?

Kevin I know you don't go near these places but let me explain for you....a Beer Garden is where you can sit outside and drink beer. Although I like your concept.

It took 40 years Ken I went back to see if I could find my crash helmet 5 years ago.

Many thanks for your ...errr.. interest in this place!

:o)

Best wishes - Jethro

A pint of local ale, a plougnmans and a quiet spot in the shade. An hour to satisfy your tum on a chir just right for you chum, what more could you ask for on a summers day?

I like the distinctive architecture of the district as the layers fold into each other at differnt hieghts and widths, a serens shot you got here auld son, a beauty!

Oh its MUCH worse than that Keith - its been gorgeous here this week!!! Check this out!

Oh yeahhhh! I love here (wherever here is).

Lovely lovely thoughts Mike - I am so hoping to find the peace within soon so that I can sit still for an hour (at least) with a chum (and a beer).

I posted this for the layers (not to tease Keith with a beer garden sign) mate.... they caught my eye and I am glad they caught your'n.

Best wishes to ya both - Jethro

The same old story in the whole world, Jetro. I really love to drink an alcohol-free Hefeweizen after a longer bicycle tour. Warmest regards from Germany with a large L and a larger star. Harry.
