Fabulous shot Marilyn! This is a very strong image of a building with its own personality...

Wow! I don't even know what to say about this. I've never seen anything like it. You have literally been all over the world, haven't you? You are a very lucky one, Marilyn.

My collection is limited to the surrounding areas mostly, but at least you can learn a little bit about Georgia.

This is fantastic!

Thank you, eme jota and MaryAlice.

Yes, the building definitely has its own personality. I'd hidden the photo away because of all those ugly wires. Finally decided that the building's contrast with its surroundings--including all those wires--was an important part of the picture.

And yes, MaryAlice, my husband and I have been fortunate to travel a great deal since he retired, our philosophy being to do it while we have the opportunity, for nobody knows what the future holds. But a big change for me is that I have also started taking many pictures nearby, something I'd only done occasionally in the past. And I've discovered that that's also very rewarding, as you pictures show so clearly!

Marilyn: Thank you very much for your kind words. I certainly enjoy photographing all of the local stuff that I can find, but I also enjoy seeing all that you see in your great travels abroad. You couldn't be more accurate in saying that you never know what the future holds though! I think everyone should live each day to the fullest, as if it was their last day. I try never to take a day for granted, because it very well could be my last. Each and every day is a gift from God. We should spend them wisely and happily! Goodnight, my friend! Mary Alice

The wqires don't hurt this one, as you said, but the contrast with the other buildings is remarkable.

Thank you, Eva, Pepe, and Hank. This was an amazing, even overwhelming, place--especially, I think, when seen in relation to its surroundings.
