I see the photographer too! "The Sluice" looks lovely here Mike, and the distance being compressed by the lens works good.

Hiya skida, Thanks for that technical note!

This was the first 'outing' for this lens, I am looking forward to get more 'out time' in !

Hope you are both well, are you enjoying the not quite fog and the queer old temperatures?

skida on October 23, 2012

It's the temperate old queers you have to worry about at "The Sluice". ;)

I like these harbour views.....dutch greetings :) roeli

trikermike on November 4, 2012

Hey thanks! roeli, It is a good place for photos, there are lots of wee boats there, and three pubs where meals are served!

K@rin on January 16, 2013

HI MIke , lovely little harbour at low tide .. ropes for the boats long enough :)! like it , best wishes Karin

trikermike on January 16, 2013

Hi K@rin, as you can see by the tide line on harbour wall, tide is very high in this area so the ropes have to be long or boats would tip over!

Thanks for looking in here, we have lot of snow right now but things are going fine despite it.
