I LOVE THIS MOTLEY COLLECTION OF OLD BOATS MIKE :))

EACH ONE WILL BE LOVED AND NURTURED BY ITS OWNER LIKE AN "ILLICIT MISTRESS" AND PROBABLY MORE MONEY WILL BE SPENT ON THESE LADIES THAN THEIR SPOUSES!

BEST WISHES FOR CHRISTMAS AND ESPECIALLY FOR A HAPPY HEALTHY NEW YEAR MY FRIEND!

CHEERS

Grim anchorage, but the tide will turn ...

Regarding the red boat (in conversation earlier) - when I was a girl, my dad always liked for me to wear a red jacket. Then, when he took pictures, he'd have me go in and stand toward one side of the photo, looking at the scene (not at the camera the way almost everybody does today). With Kodachrome slides, that really gave the shot a bit more life.

And this shot has plenty of life, Mike. Well done! Marilyn

Dear Marilyn, what a clever chap your Dad was, using you as colour and scale in his work!

I thank you for your delicious words about this picture, you make me feel happier about my efforts!
