I see you have been out and about with "Big Eye". I have been pixel-peeping and the quality is impressive. The shot here is my favourite, with the red boat in the hot spot. Was it Constable who often used bright red to show the viewer what the subject was? I think so. Nice.

trikermike on October 23, 2012

Why man, aam thinkin aal them penter chaps used the same trick, it works, so pinch it!

I thank you for this excellent comment but must correct one tiny error, where you said "Big Eye", it should be 'Jaws two' for it is indeed a great white !

Very well composed Shot Mike, Like 4, A wee bit like that harbour in New Jersey, but there's nae insurance claim here. LOL cheers scally from glasgow.

trikermike on October 30, 2012

Hi scally frae Glasgow!

These wee boats are scattered willy=nilly because the tide is oot, they're settled on the mud and clarts just waitin' fer the tide to come in again, sometimes one or two gaan oot te sea to fish for crabs, lobsters or fish, but maest are wee Jolly boats owned by would-be sailors. They do mak a boony scene in yon faallin' doon wreck of a harbour, don't they - anyone wi a camera cannae ga wrang!

Hope yer no sufferin' wi weather and shortage of guid Whisky!!

Thank you Albrecht H. for your comment and visit

I do not 'collect' LIKES or anything of that ilk, but it is nice that you have certain pleasure from my humble photographs, thanks again

I had a look at your collection with the 'slide show' and found your pictures rather pleasant viewing.

You appear to be a fair weather photographer like myself!!!
