As far as a vacation in California, Steve, it depends what you are looking for. California has a bit of everything. I visit San Diego because my daughter lives there. I do enjoy the great food, beaches, flowers, concerts that we usually enjoy when I visit, but if my daughter didn't live there, it wouldn't be my choice of a vacation destination. I'd rather go to the UK ;). No, seriously, if I'm not going to Europe, I'd rather go someplace with fewer people.

Great job Eve from Montana! I live a block away since 1987, and that is one of the coolest images I have ever seen of the pier. I shoot the pier on my surfboard all the time, barely avoiding disaster at every turn. To see my back yard in such a great way on such an international platform is pretty cool. You lucked out big time, the sunsets here usually don't look THAT cool.
