This is the last house in the immediate North Fremantle port area. Several years ago the elderly woman owner refused to budge in the face of intensive pressure from operators with a vested interest in the port area. She won the right to stay in what had been her family home for most of her life. In February 2008 the house was still there. The image was taken facing to the southwest.
