Now that IS interesting Gordon!

The thumbnail is the right way up, but the zoomed in image is not..... how did you upload this?

Very curious.

Hi Jethro,

Very interesting, and if you go to any of my pages up to 8 you will see it happens every time, this is all after Panoramio went of the system for a few days, so who do you know at Panoramio, also suggest you try your own and a few from others, I think it has been cocked up by Panoramio. Congratulations on getting your Presidency!

Cheers o'pal. Gordon

Thanks Jethro, if you can help me out I would appreciate that I have tried the again and they are all going sideways, but cant find it happening to any body else's, including the two new ones I have uploaded this morning.

This is being investigated but its all to do with having the orientation data in your EXIF Gordon. Remove that and you'll be OK (easy said than done, right?).

Look here for the thread.

Gordon670 on November 9, 2012

Uhm, bit puzzled over EXIF, where do I find this? on the camera or after I have down loaded it into the PC before I upload to Panoramio ? Have looked at the link and didn't really understand it, is it me or is it a bit confusing? So if there is more help coming, I will be grateful, Keep Clicking said they were ok with him, so am even more confused as I would have thought it would show the same whoever viewed it......... Look forward to hearing more Jehtro...... Many thanks. Gordon

I think the camera embeds something into the EXIF (thats what contributes to Extra Information to the right of your image Gordon. Turn that off and you're golden.

There will be a setting in the 400D that lets you turn off right-way-upping. I have tried with no luck to download the 400D (XT1i) manual so I could help you. Its just not on the web

The latest two of coider making also fall over. Just so you know.

:o)

Good luck with it all. Pano are trying to fix it.

Even more puzzled now as I have found the EXIF data but there is nothing there that is (as far as I can see re orientation) going to change the Portrait frame to a Landscape frame, it surely is down to Panoramio, and I have only noticed it since their system was down for about 4 or 5 Days --- HELP---

Cheers Jethro hope to hear from you soon Gordon
