'Sky Hill Pet Cemetary' - 1949. Benji, Morty, Duffy Chesney, Calvin and Rusty, are some of the well loved dogs, whose running & sniffing days are over.

Tombstones of few of buried dogs at Sky Hill Pet Cemetery.

I specially liked the grave of the Jewish dog Duffy Chesney. He died just around the the time to have Bar Mitzvah ;-)

The area was a home of a veterinarian Mr. Alan Secord and his wife Ingeborg.

Sky Hills Pet Cemetery became a home for his patients, who did not make it.

He started the pet cemetery on his property, when his cocker spaniel died. Since then animals from all over North America have been brought there by their grieving owners. Mostly dogs are buried here, but the list includes cats, budgies, even a horse and an 81 year old parrot.
