Unusual and deep color and beautiful combination with white, Yan! Best wishes. Eva

Dear Eva,

Isn't it wonderful when you find something special, and it yours alone? No one else has yet remarked on this image.

The white is for innocence, purity and peacefulness. The mauve is a blend of pink and blue dye from two ribbons on the bridge!

Special friendships make no demands. They thrive on giving and receiving.

[And I think that there may be a signature on this rose for I think someone may have plucked a petal from it. I wonder who that may have been? A little blonde girl perhaps, a long time ago.]

Thank you for such poetic elucidation, Yan!The world of the generally accepted characters is very difficult, but creating the own characters is more interesting. Best greetings, Eva

I see Eva that your imagination and creativity are pretty special for you have been able to recreate a time in your garden when as a child you made your first self-portrait.

I love that!

So thankyou for allowing us to re-live that special few minutes when you plucked a petal from a dahlia and took your picture. Now you may pluck another petal from this rose.
