Having done West Burton so many times it was a real challenge to try and find something I haven't done before . The seat was an obvious choice once I looked around and the lovely couple who were conveniently on their way back from the waters edge duly obliged. Thanks guys :o)

I wanted to pull the falls closer so used 52mm (76 mm equiv) which meant taking 4 frames and stitching so there is a touch of blur in the guys hand and some softness in the closer parts but I am fairly happy with how it turned given that each exposure was 1.3 seconds and was shot relatively quickly so as to not stretch their patience..

Hi Sam
Another really great waterfall photo, great light and compostion LIKE. Makes we want to take a trip, I've never been to West Burton.

You old smoothie;-)) Good thinking Sam, much better than an empty bench, that touch of blur doesn't spoil it mate...grand job. Did you tell them to look on GE, aye, i know it has people in so fingers crossed.

Great idea Sam makes all the difference having the couple there.

Well worth a visit Wadders though I have a feeling the colour will have mostly blown away by now and the fall a raging torrent with the weather we're having.

You know me Neil, never to shy to ask a stranger ( remember the spanner at Water Ark :o) ).

They were lovely and a copy was sent to them by way of a thank you, her comment on the flickr upload suggests tells me she thinks it's great so that's a relief :o)

It seems it was such a good idea to use the bench one guy went rushing there yesterday and took this.:o)

They say imitation is the best compliment ;-O

Cheers fella !
