Iremember this area very well, I did my jungle survival training hear when I was serving in the Royal Air Force during the Malayan emergency in the 1950s The approach road (pass) from Kuala-Kubu-Bahru was an infamous spot for communist Terrorist ambushes. Resulting in many deaths, both military and civilian Apart from that the the jungle views are breathtaking and the climate is not as oppressive as 2000 feet below.
