Sad and forlorn photo Rosa, sums up this year perfectly :( Best wishes. John.

Well Ian, I did walk across the bridge but looking at the menu and prices I think it's one for a special occasion! Cheers, Rosa.

Yes, you are right John. Such a shame! Let's just hope next summer will make up for it. Cheers, Rosa.

Very nice composition... the color a welcome addition to the scenery, I'm sure. Like There is always next year, Rosa!

Best regards, Marlene

Thank you Marlene. It would have looked a little forlorn without the red white and blue! Here's to a good summer in 2013 ;-))

Best wishes, Rosa.

Well then. You will have to wait for a while..

Rosalyn Hilborne on November 1, 2012

Only 6 months to wait! :-))

A gay shot amongst the gloom ~ Let us all hire a red double decker and drive off to the South of France :))

I like your thinking Nick! If you're gonna do it, think big ;-))

What a lovely composition, Rosa! It's sad that the summer is over but nevertheless, the Union Jacks are happily waving in the wind and the next summer will be there in less than a year!:)) BIG LIKE! Best wishes, Anne

Hold on Karin....I don't want the year to go that quickly (not at my age). I can wait a while to 'mess about on the river' ;o))

Always a pleasure to see your lovely comments. All the best, Rosa.

Amelia Royan on November 9, 2012

Not long to wait now Rosa. In a blink of an eye Christmas will be upon us, and then will come the blur of New Year's Eve. Easter is just round the corner, followed rapidly by the summer solstice!

Time goes so quickly once one reaches a certain age! ;-)

Have you decided on the date of your Shrewsbury trip?

Cheers, Amelia

Rosalyn Hilborne on November 9, 2012

Amelia Royan

Hello Amelia, you are right, time goes far too quickly! I can wait ;-)

We are coming to Shrewsbury on the 14th and 15th of December. I sent you a personal message but I fear it may have been around the time Panoramio was closed for maintenance! I will send you a message nearer the time and hopefully we can meet for a coffee.

Cheers, Rosa.

Amelia Royan on November 9, 2012

That would be lovely Rosa. I'll have time to buy and apply some polyfiller for the wrinkles. ;-)
