I have a place where I can go ,
where all the troubles from me flow.
A place to sit and think a while,
of pleasant things that make me smile.
I have many talents Ian and moving benches 15yards to have it in exactly the right place is just one of them which is something the guy who went there after seeing my image to replicate it didn't think about :o)
This version with an empty bench certainly is more poingnant than the occupied one and it is a good example of how such small changes make a huge difference to the way we look at an image.
Many thanks :o)
Excellent composition, lining up with just the right amount of foliage on each side of the picture and the waterfall in between. The bench was placed just right and at the right angle. Nice color in the leaves.
Oh yes, the placement of each leaf on the ground was perfect. Good job.
Lovely photo and your poetry says it well. Regards Derek
Terrific scene and a perfectly placed seat. Was it very heavy to move to just this exact spot?
Like best wishes, Andy
I thought there was one or two too many leaves on the ground Guy but couldn't decide which ones to take out of the scene so I just left them all :o)
The old romantic in me lives on Derek ;O).
Yes **Andy it was unbelievably heavy but two old ladies were close by so I got them to put it there for me, after their 20 minute ordeal they were nice and warm so I probably did them a favour seeing as it wasn't the warmest of days.
I had them set it down and move it around a few times though because I knew it would have to be perfectly positioned to get your approval though I was maybe a bit out since there is no YS only an L ;o).
My thanks to you all, best wishes, Sam :o)
Excellent, and of course i Like it!!!!!
Greetings and best wishes dear friend from Greece-Piraeus.
Amazing shot! Like .
Very creative Sam, like Ian i favour this one L&F Richard
Thank you Nikos & OJ1br@, I am delighted to know you have enjoyed seeing this,
kindest regards to you both.
Thank you Richard, in hindsight I don't know why I hadn't spotted this set up before but then again the countless other photographers that go there hadn't either it seems since I haven't been able to find a shot like it other than a lame copy afterwards which pleases me no end :o)
No end of photo ops around there.. Sweet pics !
Cheers Lex, yes indeed the falls have provided me with something different enough each visit but I am starting to run out of options for something novel now.
That is certainly a seat with a view, beautiful.
Cheers Vince, an ever changing one at that :o)
