a great architecture with geometric lines. The sculpture in the foreground loosens the strictness. I really like your photo, Amelia! Kind regards, Ellen

Thank you for your appreciation Ellen. It is a spectacular opera house, and difficult to show the scale of it in a photo.

Friendly wishes, Amelia

Sorry Amelia, I missed the Oslo opera house, the Stavangar version won at first sight. But you have catched also this opera house very well, with nice reflections, when you look at it in full size. And the statue is well placed. I had a walk around the building this spring. Like. Hälsningar från Sverige, Mats.

In the photos the Oslo Opera does not look so spectacular Mats, but I was very impressed with it from the outside. It is so large. I wonder what it is like to walk on the slopes after heavy rain has turned to ice. Do you know who this statue represents?

I will bring my skates next time I go to Oslo and have a tour around the impressive house :-). The statue represents the Norwegian opera star Kirsten Flagstad I see on the web. Hälsningar, Mats.

I think skis might be better Mats. Either way, you'd probably end up in the Oslo Fjord. ;-)

Thank you for the name of the opera singer. I had also done a Google search, but evidently didn't ask the correct question.

Hilsener, Amelia
