Thanks DM. The military training area is mostly inaccessible without permission but one of the benefits is that it is almost unspoiled (apart from the odd derelict tank). Much of it has never been ploughed or had pesticides used on it so it is a real haven for wildlife, butterflies and flowers. On days when they aren't firing rockets and guns it is really quiet up there.
