Ma no, Laura. In estate escono i fiori (molto piccoli) schiacciati sul cefalio (quella specie di cuscino di setole in cima alla pianta). Dall'autunno in poi il cefalio espelle i frutti maturi (che hanno in cima il fiore secco), e rimangono così in bilico lassù appoggiandosi gli uni agli altri, finché una scossa al vaso o il vento li fanno cadere. E' una pianta difficile da coltivare qui da noi, poiché non tollera temperature sotto i 16°. Perciò in inverno va tenuta in ambiente riscaldato e vicino a una finestra. Naturalmente all'asciutto.
