Compare this image with the one taken about a week earlier.
Notice how all the mature trees, including a beautiful Norfolk Island Pine at the rear of the block have gone. The black plastic covers at the right of the image hide piles of asbestos sheeting awaiting removal to a landfill site. The native peppermint tree on the foreground verge is suffering significant stress from improper pruning. The bleak picture was taken facing in a westerly direction.
