Frost-covered American Bison (Bison bison) near Soda Butte in the Lamar Valley
This winter, as they leave Yellowstone National Park in search of food, hundreds of these magnificent animals are being rounded up and shipped to slaughter in a coordinated effort by state and federal agencies. This is supposedly to stop the spread of brucellosis to domestic cattle on rangeland outside the park. However, there has never been a single documented case of disease transmission to cattle from wild bison.

An impressive photo of an imposing animal, Eve! And a very sad report! I found out a lotof the hard winter in North America this year. With us the winter looked like this . We are 4 ° wider in the north!
Great picture off a great animal Eve how did you came so close,or did you use a tele,and it,s very sad to read what happend,i hope they have a good control system about this sad actions?
