Shortcut to original photo
Sorry I though your name was *HopeAmber and not Sandy????
Where's the 'rolling eyes' emoticon when you really need one?!
Hey, I'm encouraging you both, equally. Just not on the same subjects. And after a thread a few weeks ago about you always being right (remember?), I like seeing the score evened. Can't wait for the next round!
I was going to stay out of this, but...having spent a few days around both Kevin and HopeAmber, I know they're great people.
I'll leave the sheer awesome power part to Kevin.
Hallo Kevin - Du hast die Macht der Natur wunderbar fortografiert - Beste Grüße und L 8 von Wolfgang -
Excellent shot, Kevin. I do like your shortcut to the original photo; very nice of you. Can't imagine you and Jethro vacationing during the storm, but glad you were both safe and not in the thick of it. like
Hello, Wolfgang, and thank you very much. I appreciate your visit and kind comment!
Thank you again, Patty! Well, at least me and 'ole Jethro were smart enough to leave our kayaks in the truck during this time. It was all we could do keep ourselves stable for photography during this one. Oh, and I reckon this photo was taken within a minute or two of Sandy claiming Jethro's favorite hat ... you should have seen the wind carry that hat into that raging surf ... never to be seen again!
A really awesome display of power by mother nature! This is really well captured.
Thank you very much, Roar (this is one of my favorites from that trip). I don't often photograph water with fast shutter speeds. There is something about water frozen in place that gives me an uneasy feeling - it is very strange! But I'm glad I took this shot!
Very nice photo L+F
the power of the sea..... like and ysl... Greetings from Italy Francesca
