Murano is an island in the Venetian 'archipelago. More peaceful that the main tourist area and just as watery. Famous for it's glass, it's a short boat ride out and pass the cemetery island San Michele on the way.

Yes Anne. You can get there on the water bus quite easily. We had a nice meal in a restaurant just along that pathway. Good value also - Italians eating there.
