Kercaszomor, harangláb / Kercaszomor, belfry

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Az egykori Szomoróc területén áll az 1877-ben épült református harangláb. Hazánkban rendkívül ritka egy ágasos haranglábak legfejlettebb változata. Szomoróc a trianoni béke után nem tartozott mindig Magyarországhoz, erre emlékeztet a harangláb emlékharangja.

A település az I. világháborút követően mintegy két és fél évig a Szerb-Horvát-Szlovén Királysághoz, a későbbi Jugoszláviához tartozott, csak 1922. február 9-én került vissza Magyarországhoz.

There is a reformed belfry built in 1877 in the area of former Szomoróc. This belfry with one branch is the most advanced version and extremely rare in our country. After Treaty of Trianon Szomoróc not belonged always to Hungary, the memorial belfry reminds of this. After World War I. the town belonged to the Serb-Croat-Slovene Kingdom, later to Jugoslavia. It was returned back to Hungary only on 09/02/1922.
