Hello again Mary Alice, I am just relaxing and sorta listening to TV, while enjoying more of your beautiful gallery...when I came across this I just sighed a bit!! It looks so much like some of the places I remember as a child out in the county where my grandparents lived. I didn't see a date under this Foto but I Absolutely LOVE THIS...You titled it "Our walkingPlace" , I guess you mean your sweet doggies, your friends, your family....It looks so peaceful and inviting and quiet....Is this near you? Is it really a walking trail, seems to be a little county road with those beautiful old trees along side it? I'll go, I just had to comment on this!! Since I have your gallery now, I come to the PC and enjoy a few at a time almost every day...I so look forward to it, because every new one I open, is just a little vacation!!!! Its the beginning of the weekend, so you have great fun!!!!! Until later, Sarah

Greetings, Sarah!

How nice to see you here.

Yes, you're right . . . it is actually just a little country road, but although it is a public road, it gets almost no traffic.

We go there a lot to walk and just get away from the rush. Usually no one bothers us there, and it's so peaceful and quiet. Nothing but birds, cows, and the occasional deer, snake, or armadillo to cross our path.

My Mom does love to walk this trail with me when she comes out. It's perfect weather for walking now too, as it's not too hot, and not too cold. I wish the temperatures could stay right where they are, don't you? Today was perfect. Mid 60's and sunshine a plenty!

I'm happy to see you again, and always very grateful for all of the kind things you say.

Why don't you download a few photographs? I would love to see some of yours.

Enjoy your evening.

Best regards,

Mary Alice

Hello Mary Alice, Been real busy and haven;t answered your question about me downloading some photographs.....On My Goodness, I'am not the photographer you are...I do have a nice digital cannon camera but I don't do the stuff you do..But I simply LOVE to go to your gallery and admire your beautiful work. I take a good many photoes, but of my family and places we go and things we do. But, my dear you are the professional and I do love to see the things you choose to photograph, it is so well done, and as I told you on one of these tags, it is a little vacation for me to go to some of these places you have captured, especially the old, rustic beautiful buildings, places and scenes you capture with such perfection. You truly are gifted and need to write a book of poetry along with your photoes. Let me know when you get it done, OK????? I mean it!!! And another question you asked of me when I first opened your Web Site, was I in Georgia.?... Yep, I am... Dear ole Georgia, have always been here..aren't we lucky to live in a state where we have oceans, mountains, great cities, beautiful wandering countysides, great farm lands, Beautiful Rivers, and on and and on...God is so Good, isn't he??? I must go and get some things done so I can be gone tomorrow for a day all to myself, doing things just I enjoy, which doesn't happen too often, with husband and family not along...OH BoY. ha ha ha!! Goodnight..Hope you are having a good week, and that we are all going to get some rain in the next day or two!!! Bye.. Sarah

Greetings, dear Sarah!

I am so sorry for my delayed response to your lovely note.

Well, since your letter, I believe we've gotten something close to six inches of rain here! Indeed, God is very good!

I am happy to learn that you are also a Georgia girl! Yes, I too am quite fond of our beautiful state.

What did you do on your day to yourself? How wonderful! Everyone needs alone time . . . I can understand this only too well. My time alone is my time with God and nature. Time to enjoy and appreciate all that he has given us and to soak up the beauty of this Earth! I love it when it's just me and my pups! We run & play and just forget all the worries or the world.

Everyone needs this! I'm glad that you had a fun day to yourself, and hope that you enjoyed every minute of it.

Thank you again for saying such kind things about my photos, but I am quite sure that yours are just as good! I think you should still consider making a page of your own! It's so much fun! I just know that you'd enjoy it.

Well, I have so much to do before bed. I better get started.

Thank you again for your visit, and I wish you a beautiful rest of the week.

Take care and sleep well,

Mary Alice

Greetings, Southern Georgia Girl!

I just found that you had written to me here as well! A double treat this evening.

New postings can be found on the first page of my gallery. They are always posted in order. The very first one downloaded will be on the very first page, or actually the very last page I suppose. (That would be page 18.) The most recent ones are on page one.

The ones that are new, generally have way less comments and views. Sometimes that's not altogether true though.

Regardless of where you leave me a message though, worry not, because with time, I will always find them and reply to you at some point.

Thank you for stopping by once again. It is always a pleasure.

I must go to bed now.

Goodnight & sweet dreams,

Mary Alice

P.S. I had to bring in all of the plants tonight. It's suppose to hit 28. Can you believe that? In April?

THank you so very much, Parruco! I am so happy that you enjoyed this beautiful trail. It's one of my all time favorite places to venture out with my pups. :) Best wishes from the USA, Mary Alice
