Nice fixer-upper

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

This property is in a very desirable location for a hunter or fisherman and comes with both river and forest access. The construction reflects modern style trends, for example the curved roofline is very much in vogue right now, as is the walk out creek.

The new owner will have no problem attending to a few small maintenance jobs necessary such as closing a few nails on the dock and attending to some door and window closure problems.

Is there room for my baby Grand?

David Brown Photogra… on November 9, 2012

No problem, can she swim KC? As well as your baby Grandaughter, there's room for all the rest of your kin-folks; cousins, sisters, aunties and uncles etc.

Y'all come on - Jethro

Ah.... now thats a different matter!

the floor will need to be reinforced - harder mud pouring I mean.

It has a pleasant bear print finish to it right now.

I'm sure it'll be fine!

PLEASE ian, no more reminders of worlass!

David Brown Photogra… on November 11, 2012

Merci bien Michuts

That's what I reckon Ian, just needs a couple o'Yorkshire fellas and a few straight nails. Or is it straight fellas and some Yorkshire nails?

I thought the gaping jaws and beady eyes rang a few bells.... mostly of alarm.

Nice one fellas - Jethro

Yorkshire Sam on November 11, 2012

I'd say that's rising damp at it's worst though on a plus point it probably hasn't got termites.

when it comes to straight nails and fellas the former is going to be the easiest find though I generally manage to fix things with what I have gathered up in an old biscuit tin that is rusting away in t'garage alongside 12 tins of paint remnants some of which haven't had t'skin tekken off of em fer a long while.

I reckon the best use of that timber is to make a raft and get the heck out of there afore tha gets eaten by t'sounds on it.

Good talking point image mate !

David Brown Photogra… on November 11, 2012

Hahahaha...... nice one Sam - sure is damp all right. It was pleasant in October but I wouldn't want to be anywhere near this spot in July or August! The heat, the flies and the things that crawl.....

Its funny how someone else can make the place look downright attractive.

I brought my tin of nails, a couple of old house bricks I was keeping and a selection of 1/4 tins of paint over with me from England! Still gotten 'em an'all.

Thanks for adding to the fray -- Jethro

  • I don't see any real obstacles. I will need just $15,000 up front for materials and will see you on Monday! K K ? Here is another one that came out well.

David Brown Photogra… on November 16, 2012

Did your company build that one also Randy - I heard you were in the temporary housing business but I didn't know it was that temporary.

(How did you find that picture?)

Nice one mate - Jethro
