Dear Monica,
I made a pilgrimage to Amiens, Poziers, Bapaume, Villers-Bretonneux, Bullecourt and other significant locations that are etched deeply into Australian history in 1978. And it was here in this special cathedral that we were given a very, very warm welcome.
Is Amiens your home city? Congratulations on this excellent image of a special and sacred cathedral.
With love and appreciation from Australia.
Ian
PS: My wife attended Bapaume State School as a child. Bapaume is located near Amiens in southern Queensland. If you haven't done it before you might like to try a Google Earth search to see Amiens in Australia!

No, my home city is not Amiens. I am from Romania and I live in Cluj-Napoca (in the center of Transylvania). I visited Amiens (France) in the summer of 2005 on the occasion of a youth organization meeting and I enjoyed special places in this city. Thank you for the information about Amiens in Australia. I will search for it in Google Earth.
