Leaf peeping in the Harz

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Leaf peeping is not a way of looking at a classical depiction of Adam and Eve but rather an autumn pastime (and, I guess, much older than those biblical lovers) of enjoying the colourful leaf fall; the southern rim of the Harz mountains, as here at Steina (which is a district of Bad Sachsa), offers plenty of opportunities for it (the church is St Katharinen)
