I've heard a lot about this canal, probably one of the most industrial in the country I would think. Nevertheless, very interesting in a different way. Like it.

What a nice picture Ian - it needs blowing up to appreciate but its nicely balanced and clear.

You make even cooling towers and chimbleys look good.

I like Jethro's idea of blowing it up to appreciate the scene but I don't mean your picture. No offence meant to you or your photo of the place but it's only grace is that it keeps people in work. I'm pleased to see you haven't lingered too long there pictorally speaking.

It does keep people in work Sam and not as polluting as it once was but you wouldn't want it on your doorstep.
