Feisty little birds - about six dozen of them vying for six perches on their feeder - some chose me instead (O:
Grrrr8 shot, super focus, so well captured dear LTM ~ I surely have to squirrel a copy away into my favourites with a YSL ~ you are the Bird Woman of Coos Bay ~ Wow ~ admiring hugs ~ GW
A happy hello, Billy dear - I was photographically unprepared until I remembered the iPhone in my pocket - did a great job, didn't it? Since then, I just enjoy them landing on me, and try not to think of the film The Birds when their wings are flapping wildly and close. Their colors are lovely, especially the males, and the wingspread was a lucky shot. Thanks, dear friend (O:
I've gotten plenty wet standing out by their feeder so patiently, Nick dear! Amazing to have one hundred tiny birds fluttering frantically on and around me. Soon they'll be gone, but we'll see them in the Spring. Come visit next late Autumn and I'll photograph you covered with a charm of finches. Thanks very much, dear friend, best finches and hugs (O:
I understand how how you must have felt being mobbed by these hungry little Finches! Part terror part wonderment :)
To be trusted by these tiny creatures must be a very humbling experience Suzi :)) You did well to capture the event on your Iphone, lucky you!
Such an endearing image wholly deserves all the accolades and gets a full house from me! Nice work Suzi :)
What a lovely comment, dear Jim! Many thanks for the gift of a star as well. It was a wonderful experience, with group after group of these tiny darlings coming through. All gone south now, but I'm sure we will see them again come Springtime. Wishing you an excellent 2013, with hugs (O:
