taken with a 25 year old autofocus lense ... 100 - 300 f 5.6 ( one of the first ) - somethings just never go out of style - it even has a macro setting !
Hi Waldo, they almost pose for you, don't ya think so? Great suject. The clarity is amazing. Some of my best shots ever come from an old Hasselblad with a fixed Super wide C lens. Trouble is, tough to get film and developing. Regards, Ray
Great to hear from you Ray - hope you and all your belongings weathered the storm OK ! One of the first autofocus telephoto zoom lenses Canon made - slow to focus and noisy ( sounds like a sewing machine ) , but it is an L series lense and tack sharp - designed for full frame 35mm cameras , but works on the digital whiz boxes !
Thank you kindly Tery - going thru old image files - am starting to run out of titles , have even used the same titles over again - my excuse is that I went to bed with Weisenheimers , woke up with Alzheimers !
We were lucky, made it through unscathed. Just a bit boring, 13 days without the toys. Thanks for the thought, Ray
It's frightening to realize just how dependent we are on electrical devices Ray , whether they be plug in or battery powered ( thought you could use a little humor ) ! Potato salad goes bad real quick without refrigeration , and cold beer is definitely better than warm beer ( voice of experience here ) . Hope the recovery from the storm is speedy and that the politicians can put partisan politics aside long enough to realize that they have a real catastrophe on their hands that needs to be dealt with ASAP !
