We don't see many Cattle Egrets in this part of the world, but I did see a huge colony of them in Costa Rica, doing what they do best - sharing a field with a herd of cattle and eating the insects the cattle stir up as they move around and graze. Unfortunately, we were moving in the bus and the driver didn't have a convenient place to stop.
