I am so pleased to see the scenery behind to bridge Per. Thank you. isn't it a pity that it was snowing so heavily when we were there! It looks as if we should have tried a visit in October. ;-)

Whoops - another typo!

Thanks a lot for visit, comment and Like Chet.

The best thing would be to have a really long and lovely day in midsummer Amelia.

The pity is that we never got the opportunity then.

Thanks for a nice comment and your Like. :-)

Regarding the typo: I can't see anything wrong except for the lowercase i following Thank you.

Oh yes, now I see it: " behind to bridge" ;-)))

Mother-in-law arriving this evening. I fear that I will be grounded until past the weekend. ;-))

Amelia Royan on November 14, 2012

Enjoy your Mother-in-law's (svigemors) visit, . Nothing like being grounded, especially if the weather is good! ;-)

You may have some nice trips with her. I hope you do. :)))

PerO the Viking G- on November 14, 2012

Thanks Amelia.

There is in fact a small possibility for that. I've been asked to drive her to Noredalen tomorrow. She's only eleven years older than you, and still relatively fit. ;-))

Amelia Royan on November 14, 2012

I can't find Noredalen in our atlas, but I can find Norddallen. The latter seems to like a longish trip. You'll have to be up early! ;-)

PerO the Viking G- on November 14, 2012

Doesn't matter Amelia. Plans are changing like weather forecasts. ;-))

Noredalen is the valley from Sviland en route to Lauvik. (Fv 316)

There might be a chance for a leave on Friday. :-)))

So the Mother in Law changes as unpredictably as the weather perhaps Per and I see in this slightly better weather shot evidence of recent rain ~ Best wishes and pleased to meet you through Amelia ~ nick

PerO the Viking G- on November 14, 2012

Yes, she does Nick, ain't I a lucky guy? ;-))

Your observation is correct. This photo was taken at the end of a lone trip I had in Sirdal and Forsand last fall. The weather then was also changing, but luckily not as extreme as this year. I was lucky to get this glimpse of evening sun, just before it disappeared behind the mountains.

It was nice of you to have a look at, and to comment on some of my photos, and I will have a look at yours eventually. :-)

Best wishes,
