The palm house was imported from Germany in 1875 for the Adelaide Botanic Garden. It first opened in 1877 and had a full restoration in 1995. It houses a display of arid land Madagascan plants.

Thanks very much Ijaz Ahmad,
A very beautiful picture! Like! Greetings!
Thank you RNLatvian,
Whenever we get to Adelaide, we always visit the Botanic Garden, a place I realy love. I remember this glass house well.
Hi Roger, the glass house is quite impressive, especially since it's restoration. I think the botanic gardens are a place you can go to many times and still see something new each time :-)
Not sure if we will get back to Adelaide :( but the BG will be the first place we go if we do.
