The Palm House

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

The palm house was imported from Germany in 1875 for the Adelaide Botanic Garden. It first opened in 1877 and had a full restoration in 1995. It houses a display of arid land Madagascan plants.

Whenever we get to Adelaide, we always visit the Botanic Garden, a place I realy love. I remember this glass house well.

Hi Roger, the glass house is quite impressive, especially since it's restoration. I think the botanic gardens are a place you can go to many times and still see something new each time :-)
