A wonderfully simple elegant style of church. A silent witness to the machinations and antics of humanity.

An unusual and interesting photo Ainars

Best wishes.

Hi Jim, thank You for visit my collection!

Before I began capture churches and manors I not expected, than this task will be so interesting for me! When I captured old house I am also interested read about house history too. But in Latvia, this history area is not yet enough filled and this is why, I cannot attach links or webpage to every building photo.

There is not my obligation to search for every church in area, nor I feel myself too religious. I do this only on my free will (because of interesting for me) and spending only my private time and spending only my car fuel. :)

It is amazing to discover there, we don't know much about our country past and connections, but seems to me, numbers of sites in Belgium are not in better situation than our Latvia country side. :)

I looking forwards, I will continue with this uploads in nearest future, or at least, as far it will be available for me. And only I desired - better weather conditions in next weekends - less cloudy and less rainy! :)

Greetings Ainars and thankyou for your interesting commentary.

You have taken on a big task here. One day in the future, the true value of your work will be recognised. It has always been the case, throughout history, that it is ordinary people who are recording/researching our past for posterity's sake.

I look forward to many more interesting finds.

You can rely on me to follow your progress here in you gallery.

Good luck Ainars

Jim
