Earth and ♫ Blue Sky Mine ♫

... but if I work all day on the blue sky mine

There'll be food on the table tonight

And if I walk up and down on the blue sky mine

There'll be pay in your pocket tonight

And some have sailed from a distant shore

And the company takes what the company wants

And nothing's as precious

As a hole in the ground !

In the end the rain comes down !

That's Cool!

Why bother to travel the ends of the earth to capture scenes that can only be had in the comfort and safety of your own backyard Itallica ? It's a real rock carving , but I created it , and no one else has access to it !

very captivating image, the blue lines against the red of the rock look great! and the tribal design is really beautiful too!

Thank you Nel-Caro !

Hello Man in the Maze - I carved and painted this design on a flat rock ( sandstone ) about 15 years ago and sprayed it with a protective coating - it currently resides on the mantle above my fireplace - I plan on hiding it in an obscure canyon in southern Utah ( next trek down there ) and maybe someone will find it 2000 years from now and wonder ...

ha ha ha well done, but in any case after 2000 years will not be a hoax any more!

I love the Utah!!!! One of the most beautiful places in the world in my view!

Hello Man in the Maze - petroglyphs and pictographs were " The Facebook / Panoramio of the Original People " ! Totally agree with your view of southern Utah - it's The Greatest Earth on Show !!!

I 'd go back to live in Utah for few years, that state is amazingly beautiful with its desert skies and sceneries you'll never forget!
