Its himself 'again'

What a Poser! Just shows what we will do and where we 'happy snappers' will go for a picture. - My wife Eileen, took this, of course. I kept telling her to take another step backwards and, well.... I didn't know that the notice was for real!!!! Joking apart, this was taken at 'Orford Ness', of lighthouse, bird and historic military research fame, on the SE coast of Britain.

Nope, can't have mandatory pics of the photographers. I hate any picture I have ever been in!! Much prefer being behind the lens. On the other hand, it is nice to put a face to the names. Maybe you should put it to the vote :)

i know where there is a picture of you! TSB and me... Anyway picture to the face is always good herb.

Seniority (from Latin "senex", old man) didn't kill the Cat. That was curiosity doing so, and as a curious person I vote Yea for this appearance!

That warning sign however seems somewhat excessive. You might look like dynamite but are in fact quite harmless.

Cheers, erik

Nice to meet you, Herb, ...and interesting story... Kind regards, Elena

Sleipnir's Master,Erik, Elena, Manoo and Chris, really nice to read all your comments, which have quite a range of subjects, I must say. I know I occasionally like to see a snap of the photographer and that is often shown in their personal icon, but not me! (E.T. manages that for me!) So, well a new portrait every few years from me perhaps, while my looks and youth last :)

Keisuke, every year our armed forces explode many World War 2 devices out to sea too. War is a nasty thing that kills and harms our children and world!

Best Wishes of the Season to all of you, Herb

Přemysl and Karen, really nice to see you both here again. We both survived the trip to this marvellous place as you can see :)

Karen, I miss you more frequent visits but I truly understand your photographic success must make it difficult to visit all your admirers.

I shall repeat the sentiment above: Wishing you both and your families, a Very Happy New Year, Herb

cbaisan on December 31, 2012

Anything for a shot ;-) All the best to you and yours!

Jean-Pierre and Natmara, so sorry to have missed you on here so long ago now. I do try to answer all comments ASAP but the occasional picture sometimes escapes. Anyway, I still appreciate very much your visits, comments and like. Please do not be put off, and visit again soon.

Aperturix, nice to see you too. I'm already feeling older than I was in this photo some 14 months ago. At least I survived that trip OK.

Best wishes to you all, Herb
