Embroidering a "cinta" (ribbon)

Not selected for Google Earth or Google Maps [?]

scanned from a 6x6cm slide from the year 1979
The cinta is most always very intricately woven and tells a story in its pattern and design. In some villages, how a woman wraps her hair in the cinta can indicate if she is single, married, has children and if she is the head of the family.
But this one, I am afraid is only for tourists, as it isn´t very long.
