The so-called “Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus” (referred to as the TRNC) is an illegal entity under international law and is not recognized by any nation in the world except for Turkey.

This is an excellent photograph, Erman. The minaret rather underlines the Turkish influence in Cypriot culture too, and the wonderfully rich history of this beautiful island. It is such a pity that the history is not taught properly in schools (at least in the South) which leads to all sorts of biggotted comments and views of which nicholaspa's is typical. Superb photo.

For your information this area does not belong to you. Its a Eurpean area, as Cyprus entered the European Union as one country, the same way Germany did.
As germany, entered with a devided Birlin and finally got united, the same is going to happen here as well.
Soorner or later these grounds will be united and no ellegally held property will remain in the hands of those who stole it. British courts have already decided about that, and the Supreme British Court has already decided that even the airport of Ergian does not belong to the so called North Cyprus but to the Cyprus Governement. The only legal Government in Cyprus.

FURTHER TO WHAT I HAVE SAID ABOVE, lately the European Court decided that no land stolen from the legal owners in Asia Minor itself cannot be left to the hands of those who stole it.
Which means that even in Turkey itself, legal owners of land can never loose it. And that this land must be returned.
So, dear friends, be prepared to give back to the legal owners the land and property that was taken away by force from the legal owners. The medieval way of thinking is OVER. No power, even that caused by weapons, cannot leave the legal owner without land!
