Wait, wait, don't tell me!--No, it's Colonial Beach, and not even Anglican except in a sort of Ecumenical sense! Whose idea were the flying buttresses, anyway? Good clean picture, r.w.! One of these days I will follow you around and find out how you do it . . . . L+F again.
I think I saw that this was a 1908 construction.
Sort of post-Victorian Beach then, I guess. All mod cons. Never mind, it's antique now!
It's been recently restored as well as two or three other properties that may or may not be a part of the same property. Behind the church is a really beautiful old home that is a part of the church and has been restored and my photo of Webbs General Store.... to me it seems like a part of the same restoration. But a local lady I was talking to seemed to make it sound like a couple was restoring it. Back to the church.... their are a number of items in the restoration that make it look like a newer design than 1908.
Let me show you around Williamsburg if it's coney-catching that interests you. It is the Emerald City of Oz compared to anything it must have looked like at any point in time before the infusion--I should say "deluge"--of Rockefeller money. Walt Disney here's your hat.
Give me the county roads any day.
