It all looks very tame now but I once took a beginners group up here and got caught in a blizzard. Visibility was near zero so I took them down the ridge on the left counting paces with map and compass. I have never concentrated so much. We deserved our evening meal in the Bryn Turc (mole hill) in Capel Curig.
