I find this an absolutely amazing capture!

Firstly the shot itself and secondly the time of year ..... but I suppose these darters have been as confused by the year's unusual weather patterns as the rest of us!.

Best wishes, Andy.

Wow Anne, that you found these ones is incredible! I don't know if they are going dead in winter or do they hide?

I found a small moth today, but I think he was dead :( Last year I found two living moths under a big mushroom. It was very nice to see...

Greetz, Christien.

Vielen Dank für dein 'Like', Kastl! Die Große Heidelibelle fliegt weit bis in den November hinein. Aber es werden doch schon weniger!:( LG, Anne

Merci beaucoup, Michel! Enchantée que cette photo te plaise! Amicalement, Anne

Thanks for your nice comment and the YSL, Andy! I'm glad you like this shot! These darters fly until late November, they are the last ones! But you only see them around noon when the sun is shining. Best wishes, Anne

Muchas gracias por tu comentario agradable, José Mª! Me alegra que te guste esta foto! Un cordial saludo, Anne

Thanks for your nice comment, Christien! I'm glad you like this shot! Soon, there will be no more dragonflies around!:( They will die when the days get too cold, but next year there will hopefully be many new ones!:) Best wishes, Anne
