City People. This sculpture consists of twenty larger than life-sized flat, painted metal figures of people. People walking, or just standing waiting for someone, the occasional shopper, the people who are rushing to work or catch the bus.
There are no face features, but if there were any, I suspect it would be shown slightly annoyed, when they find the gate on top is closed.
The figures are mounted on the wall beside the steps going up to the outside courtyard at the Royal Bank Complex in downtown. Mounted on tall poles, at the top of the staircase, are several figures that will turn with the winds.
