Kavala, sunset view from Palaeochorion to Krinides and mountains of Lekani

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Palaiochorion is a village (where last 34 years I' m feeling like home) of 2.000 habitants, situated in mount Pagaion, 12 km from Eleftheroupolis and 28 km from Kavala. At the village there are many taverns and bars, specially in summer, and has a wonderful view to the plain of Drama. Just across the valley and on the edge of Lekani mountains the village Krinides situated very near to the archaeological site of Philippi.
