Thanks Craig Just don't smell them everyday, your nose turns yellow with the pollen that's really hard to get off!
Rafael Thank you, as always,

Yes such a pretty bloom. The flowers are still coming out. A lot of this arrangement are still buds and each day one of them opens to display a wonderful Lily. They is a mixture of this colour, orange and a prety pale pink. Just lovely!

Arturo My friend, what a wonderful compliment you pay me. Australia is a very beautiful place with many great things to see.
Thanks Dick They are lovely flowers aren't they. The only thing I don't like about them is the pollen that gets all over my face when I smell them. It is so hard to get off. I sit with a bright yellow nose for ages! LOL

So many beauties in your gallery, Palmina! It's wonderful to enjoy all these colours. Temperature has got lower here again, though it's a beautiful, sunny day.
My best greetings, May

It's been terribly hot here for the past 2 weeks. We have been having a record number of days above 35oC since records began. Usually, we would have 3 or 4 days of hot weather then a coolish one to settle things down, but for 11 days it's been very hot. Autumn is just around the corner and boy am I looking forward to it!
The flowers in the pictures are from my birthday bouquet, They lasted very well.
Glad they have brightened your day.

I am glad we are soon having Spring here. Actually it should start today, but it doesn't look like it. Today I saw some snow on the hills.
So nice of you to share your birthday bouquet with us, Palmina! :-) I wish you all the best, no matter when it is over!
My best wishes, May

Thank you May We have had many days of very hot weather over the last few weeks and now it has turned very cold. So much so that we have put the fire back into the family room. (We have a slow combustion wood burner that is wonderful in the cold weather but it takes up too much room when it's not being used, so each Spring we take it out and put it in the shed and I can rearrange the sofa's to give us more space in the room and move them away from the windows (and sun). We then bring out the fire again when it gets cooler - and now it has). It seems a bit of a silly thing to do and we keep threatening to have a gas - log effect fire built in, but never seem to get round to it. With Melbourne's weather we never know what will happen. It's only going to be 20oC for about a week but it could well be 38oC next week again.
Joerg Thank you for the visit and the lovely comment.

Palmina, you are talking about cold weather. I felt sorry and had a picture of you shivering and the whole family, you, husband and dogs hiding under a warm blanket until I read about your "only" 20° C. :-))
We are just dreaming of 20°. The nights are still cold here, around 0° and during the day 5°C. But probably it depends what one is used to. For instance I wouldn't feel well at all with 38°. However I wish you a cosy time and a temperature between 25° and 32° :-)
All my best wishes to you and your family, May :-)

May I think if we had about 25oC all year round I'd be quite happy. In a perfect world, it would rain every morning and be sunny in the afternoon and still and warmish at night. I think I should move to Hawaii!
Craig those mornings are gone now I think, it was bloomin' freezing this morning! The fog was so thick, but that's Autumn for you.
The clock changes don't help as it's too dark too soon isn't it? Still I prefer it to the heat!
Chris Thank you!
Penelope thank you so much for your lovely comments.
