Hi Palmina! Your new flower series is just wonderful! Great idea to take pictures of your birthday bouquet, you can always look at them long after the flowers have faded. The colours in this one are really gorgeous! Greetings, Anne

Thanks again Anne These are such pretty flowers. I've just told Craig that I keep making the mistake of smelling them each time I go past and I end up with a yellow nose from the pollen.

Rom@nce Do you know just how much you cheered me up???? This is lovely. We had a bit of bad luck last Thursday. Kevin was driving to work at 2.00a.m. and someone in another car drove straight at him. Kevin managed to avoid hitting head on but the cour car was a write off. The other driver didn't even stop. Don't know if he was drunk, high or intent on killing himself. Luckily Kevin is o.k. and the car will be replaced eventually. So my friend.... this was a lovely surprise when I opened the link. It brought a much needed smile to our faces, thank you!

Really sorry for you guys. Thanks goodness there was no traffic and Kevin managed to turn to avoid a head-to -head collision. Some people are crazy; don't know what they are thinking about... The guy who hit my daughters car from behind also told he didn't see her... Was neither drunk nor stoned.
Thinking of you guys, take care
Love, Inessa

Hello Palmina! So sorry to hear about Kevin's accident! He had a very good guardian angel that protected him from being severely injured! Of course it's a shame that the other driver didn't even stop and I do hope the police will find him. It's too bad that your car is a write off, but as you say, a car can be replaced. The main thing is that Kevin is all right. My best wishes for both of you, Anne

Hi Rom@nce , Inessa and Anne thank you so much for the kind thoughts. - I doubt whether they'll catch him as things happened so fast, Kevin couldn't even see what kind of car it was, add to that main beam headlights coming at you, it was a bit scary. But I wonder if someone has already caught up with him as we had a fatality the next night not far from the accident where a young guy has drove his car at a tree. Such a shame that someone could be sad enough to do that. My thoughts go out to this young man's family.
We are the lucky ones. We have very good friends so we are not without a car to get Kevin to work and to do the shopping until ours is sorted.
Again, thank you all, it is so nice to know we are thought about so far away.
Inessa I am grateful that your daughter is o.k. too. I think we all forget that when we get behind a wheel, we are in charge of a weapon. It can be so deadly especially if you are silly enough to drink and drive.
Love, Palmina

Thanks Craig you are very kind. Yes thankfully he wasn't hurt. We are just waiting to hear from the insurance company now - and they aren't overly fast!- to see what happens next.

Greetings Palmina, Glad to hear everyone is OK. Your flowers are beautiful. In Colorado it is that time of the year where the crocus and daffodil bloom, then get flattened by a snow storm. After the snow melts, more flowers come up and bloom, only to suffer the same fate as the previous flowers. The vicious cycle of spring in Colorado.
Cheers,
Rich

Thanks Rich It's a shame that some little flowers should strive to push through the earth just to be squashed. Still...such is life. The trees are starting to turn now and it is looking nice. Around us, we don't have too many trees that turn so when they do it's lovely. We have our car back...yesterday in fact, so this weekend will be the first time in a long time we will get out into the countryside and see what the new season has brought us.
